Final Show of the Season! The Washington Idaho Symphony is proud to present the final concert of its 2015-2016 season, the annual Domey/Gillespie Young Artist's Concert. This exciting program opens with Hungarian composer Leo Weiner's rustic Serenade for Orchestra. Following, they will showcase their two 2015-2016 winners of the annual Domey/Gillespie Young Artist Competition. James Marshall,17 from Spokane, will join the symphony for the first movement of Paul Hindemith's magnificent work for Viola and Orchestra, Der Schwanendreher. Oliver Hartman, 20 from Ellensburg, will then join them for Koussevitsky's famous Double Bass Concerto. Finally, the program will be rounded out with Mozart's noble and majestic Symphony No. 39 in E-flat Major, KV 543.
